CARRERA 84/S – Special Edition
These pilot-shaped unisex acetate sunglasses are a new edition of an iconic model that comes straight from the brand’s archives. The frame owes its worldwide fame to “Downhill Racer”, a 1969 movie starring a young Robert Redford wearing these celebrated sunglasses.
The tri-layer acetate frame comes in color combos that reflect the brand’s passion for the world of sports: black-white-gray, blue-ivory-red and havana.

This unisex model features an interplay of materials between the Optyl front and the ultra-slim metal temples, as well as fine, sophisticated details that are part of the brand’s stylistic heritage.
With their aviator shape, the double bridge with a metal insert on the upper front profile and the engraved Carrera logo, these sunglasses are a contemporary take on the brand’s original “Captain” sunglasses, a model that made history. They are available in a classic color palette of black-ruthenium, Havana-gold, opal-black and gray-black.

“Cyclotown by Carrera”: a new APP dedicated to city bike enthusiasts

Carrera strengthens its bond with the world of cycling after the launch of its innovative Foldable Helmet Premium Edition, which enjoyed great success among fashion and sports enthusiasts alike. The celebrated brand has now developed “Cyclotown by Carrera”: a new APP dedicated to those who prefer the experience of cycling in and around town.  

The new easy-to-use APP gives cyclists easy access to  the coolest places in a number of European cities (starting with Milan, then Berlin, London and Barcelona). These are grouped into categories: “Wheels&Co.” (bike shops and bike repair workshops), “Hangouts” (restaurants, clubs, bars) and “Style” (art and shopping). In order to discover the most beautiful and interesting corners of each town there are also nine cycle routes to choose from, which are dedicated to sport, nature and culture.

“Cyclotown by Carrera” (available for IOS, Android as well as in a downloadable desktop version on has been developed in partnership with the historical bicycle shop Rossignoli in Milan and has a section dedicated to the technical information about Carrera’s Foldable Helmet:  a unique accessory with an appealing design that is destined to become every cyclist’s best friend. Ultra-lightweight and practical, it combines utmost comfort and safety without sacrificing style.

“Cycles”: a documentary film on the history of cycling in Italy

The “Cycles” project is a video documentary on the history of cycling in Italy – which dates back to the early 1900s, when the Giro d’Italia race was first organized – and stems from Carrera’s passion for cycling. The Ciclistica in Milano and the Iride Fixed in Modena – who represent the best of Italian craftsmanship and savoir-faire and are connected by their incredible and precious knowledge –  will be sharing their very different stories together with two expert frame builders, Masi and Soldino. We will delve into the world of cycling and “see the world” through the eyes of those who have truly made its history.

CARRERA/ICONS: Heritage inspirations 

With their timeless teardrop shape and the stylized “C” on the bridge, the iconic CHAMPION sunglasses have been a must-have model in the brand’s collections for the past several years. They are now presented in a brand new version, with a unique interplay of materials: the front in Optyl, an ultra-lightweight hypoallergenic material, is perfectly combined with the soft-to-the-touch, colourful rubber temples. These sunglasses feature the Carrera logo as a bas-relief detail on the temples and as a laser-engraved decoration on the lenses. The model comes in trendy, fashionable colour combinations: black-red, Havana-yellow, grey-blue and purple-green.

Exciting new colours and innovative materials for the sunglasses that have played a starring role in the brand’s latest collections: Carrera 6000. With its unique and unmistakable wavy temples internally covered in rubber, featuring contrasting shades and embellished with a rubber insert near the hinge, this model sets the latest fashion trends. The rectangular-shaped front is in Optyl, an ultra-lightweight hypoallergenic material. The colour palette includes pastel hues of grey-burgundy, green-grey and yellow-petrol blue, accompanied by classic shades of black-red and Havana-black-yellow.

The CARRERA 6002 model flaunts a softly rounded square shape and a skilfully hand-finished acetate front, reinterpreted with iconic detailing, such as the metal bridge on the front, the unique wavy temples and definite nuances of black, mud/blue, khaki, brown and grey/burgundy, perfectly combined with cutting-edge mirrored lenses.


This new acetate optical frame is also embellished with Carrera’s iconic wavy temples, featuring an authentic, timeless style that is dedicated to fashion enthusiasts who want to stand out from the crowd. A small metal plaque adorned with the innovative silk-screened “Victory C® logo” and covering the flex hinge, stands out on tones of blue, Havana, black, black-blue and burgundy-ivory.

CARRERA/CRAZE: New contemporary trends

In line with the latest fashion trends, the CARRERA 5001 sunglasses have a young, fashionable feel, a large shape and a vintage yet modern personality, highlighted by bright colours, such as orange, aqua green and pink, and enlivened by the all-over “Victory C® Logo” on the inside of the geometric-shaped temples.

This model rediscovers traditions and reinterprets them with an original note, perfectly reflecting a contemporary design. With its trendy colour palette in shades of grey-black, blue-light blue, ivory-brown, Havana-green, pink-red and Havana-black-grey, this new softly rounded bold optical frame is designed for young, dynamic women.

A dynamic personality and an easy-to-wear shape for these high-performance sunglasses that are ideal for outdoor activities. The CARRERA 59 metal sunglasses are ultra-lightweight and extremely comfortable thanks to the rubber details on the temples, the flex hinge ensuring a perfect fit and the polarized lenses providing outstanding, crisp and glare-free vision.


The CA6209 square-shaped acetate/metal optical frame also flaunts an ultra-lightweight feel. The rubber details on the initial part of the temples and on the temple tips come directly from the heart of the Carrera archives and embellish all the new models.
