GUCCI FALL/WINTER 2014-2015 EYEWEAR COLLECTION - WOMEN
Gucci presents its Fall/Winter 2014-2015 eyewear collection, introducing new sunglasses and optical frames dedicated to a contemporary and sensual woman. The styles are embellished with new versions of the brand’s distinctive signature motifs, interpreted with innovative finishes that reflect the tradition of excellence and the flawless savoir-faire of Gucci.

Mod. GG4263/S and GG3717
These geometric butterfly-shaped sunglasses and optical frames feature an innovative combination of materials on the temples, externally covered in a diamond pattern fabric, a signature texture from the heart of Gucci’s archive. The inside of the temples presents a comfortable soft-to-the-touch rubber material, for a pleasant feeling, embellished by the GG interlocking metal logo. The metal front of the sunglasses is enhanced by a refined interplay of tone-on-tone colors, such as dark ruthenium/black, gold/black, light gold/chocolate, red gold/ivory, while the optical Optyl frames comes in the elegant tones of transparent violet, opal grey, black and Havana.

Mod. GG3710/S
Designed with a blend of geometric lines, these women’s sunglass styles echoes Gucci’s elegance and exquisite details, for a strong yet feminine statement. The frame is in Optyl, a registered trademark for an ultra-lightweight plastic material allowing for dramatic contrasts between the black front and the lenses in grey, gold mirror, blue and red flash. New transparent temples, with shaded metal cores, complete these strong yet feminine sunglasses.

The sophisticated cat-eye frame of this optical frames conveys a refined allure, defined by the interplay of metal and acetate on the sides, as a new interpretation of the classic Gucci web motif. The color palette includes black/gold, Havana/brown, mauve/gold, ivory/beige, blue/matt blue, semimatt black.

For Fall/Winter 2014-2015 the Gucci eyewear collection for men features a classic yet modern look: the new sunglasses and optical frames are inspired by a combination of retro feeling and impeccable craftsmanship, subtly interpreted with an elegant spirit.

Mod. GG2256/S, GG1082/S, GG1073
These sunglasses and optical frames – in metal or in acetate and metal – feature linear shapes defining the silhouette with sharp precision and new proportions in the Men eyewear segment. The round shapes draw inspiration from the sensual retro feeling of the Fall/Winter Fashion Show, enhanced by the flat design and the ultra-slim the metal temples, enhanced by original plastic oval-shaped end-tips, with the GG logo visible inside, for a distinctive touch and a comfortable feeling. The flawless quality of the sunglasses is completed by adjustable nose-pads, allowing a perfect fitting, and mineral glass lenses, ensuring the highest quality of vision.
The palette includes ruthenium and gold, black and Havana, as well as the sophisticated nuances of spotted Havana in yellow, green and burgundy.


As part of a worldwide eco-friendly program designed to progressively reduce the company’s impact on the environment, Gucci sunglasses feature 100% recyclable packaging with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified paper, while the unique foldable cases minimize stock space, limiting both the weight and amount of shipments and in turn helping to reduce 60% of CO2 emissions. Following the House’s environmental commitment, Gucci eyewear collections include sunglasses and optical frames in bio-based acetate, a special material that contains a higher than usual proportion of natural components, as well as sunglasses made in Liquid Wood, a bio-based and eco-friendly material that represents an alternative to the plastic generally used in the production of eyewear. Liquid Wood is made from bio-based materials: wood fibre from sustainably managed forests, lignin from paper manufacturing processes and natural wax.

TECHNO COLOR CAPSULE COLLECTION

Gucci presents its new spring/summer 2014 sunglasses for women and men: evoking glamorous timeless allure, the models are a blend of sensuality and technology, boasting an ultra-lightweight construction: a technology patented in the Eighties by Safilo Group and reinterpreted today in a new, lighter-than-ever version. The new sunglasses are the utmost expression of the brand’s fashion authority and expertise: the lenses fully stand out with their beautiful shades, while the slim steel frame subtly underlines the shape. The new eyewear capsule collection includes four sophisticated shapes that evoke Gucci’s distinctive style, enhanced by exotic colours and graphic lines.

These ultra-lightweight sunglasses for women are softly rounded, with an extremely fine steel structure – a minimal design with a glam twist. The colours of the lenses highlight the eyes behind them for a seductive look, and all the lenses feature a distinctive mirrored blue reflective effect. Colour combinations are: yellow lenses with a dark ruthenium frame, lilac lenses with a red gold frame, green lenses with a ruthenium frame, orange lenses with a dark ruthenium frame, pink lenses with a palladium metal frame, brown lenses with a gold frame, and smoke lenses with a dark ruthenium frame. The classic pilot-shaped unisex sunglasses also feature an extremely lightweight and slim steel structure combining a masculine allure with a modern bright colour palette. As with the sunglasses for women, all the lenses feature a distinctive mirrored blue reflective effect. This rectangular-shaped mask features bright lenses which enhance the cutting-edge design of this women’s style: lilac with blue flash on red gold frames, yellow with blue flash on dark ruthenium frame, green with blue flash on ruthenium frame, pink with blue flash on palladium frame, brown flash on gold frames and black flash on dark ru-thenium frame. The bridge is embellished with a natural bamboo detail, a Gucci iconic element which reflect the House’s philosophy of fusing tradition and innovation. GUCCI PRESENTS THE NEW MEN SPORTY- CHIC SUNGLASSES AND OPTICAL FRAMES

For Spring/Summer 2014 Gucci presents a new men’s sunglasses and optical frame collection, an innovative high-tech interpretation of an urban attitude with a sporty-chic style dedicated to the contemporary man.

These new sunglasses and optical frames are a blend of classic allure, with their easy-to-wear square-shaped silhouette, and contemporary touch, thanks to the use of new materials, such as carbon fiber temples which are ultra-light and highly performing, ensuring the utmost in comfort.

The impeccable quality of these styles is completed by the rubber tips on the end of the temples, allowing for a comfortable fit, and by the polarized lenses, which guarantee an excellent quality of vision and perfect colour perception.

The Gucci logo on the lenses and on the temples, the web green-red-green stripe and the Diamante pattern on the inside of the temples are the iconic details underlining the distinctive DNA of these frames.

The sunglasses are available in brown with bronze lenses, matt black with grey lenses, military green with brown shaded lenses, blue with grey lenses.

The optical model is available in black, Havana, matt black and green.

MEN’S SPRING/SUMMER 2014 FASHION SHOW SUNGLASSES

For Spring/Summer 2014, Gucci presents new men’s sunglasses featuring techno accents and modern workings, for a sophisticated spirit perfectly complementing the Spring/Summer 2014 runway collection.
The graphic round sunglasses combine an exciting mix of a semi matt finished acetate frame with metal details and rimless metallic mirror lenses.

The temples are enhanced by the combination of carbon fiber, an ultra-light and highly performing material, and rubber end-tips giving a soft touch and feel. The impeccable quality of this style is completed by the adjustable nose pads personalized with the GG interlocking logo, ensuring the utmost comfort.

The iconic motifs of these sunglasses are represented by the Gucci logo on the lenses and on the metal plaque on the temple, the Gucci web stripe, the metal detail on the hinge and the Diamante pattern on the inside of the temples.

To complement the fashion show colours these sunglasses are available in transparent semi-matte grey with light grey mirror shaded lenses, matte black with black mirror lenses, beige with bronze mirror lenses and matte petroleum with azure/green mirror lenses.

WOMEN’S SPRING/SUMMER 2014 FASHION SHOW SUNGLASSES

For Spring/Summer 2014, Gucci eyewear celebrates the strong and eclectic allure of a seductive and sensual woman. Designed with a blend of geometric lines and smooth curves, and echoing Gucci’s elegance and exquisite details, these maxi oversize sunglasses perfectly complement the loose lines and fluid graphic shapes of the Spring/Summer 2014 runway collection.

The frame in Optyl, a registered trademark for the ultra-lightweight plastic material allows for dramatic contrasts between shaded lenses and the black high relief graphic line framing the front and the small pink gold metal studs.
Tone on tone lenses and new transparent temples, with shaded metal cores, complete these strong yet feminine sunglasses.

To reflect the key fashion show colours, these sunglasses are available in crystal (black bar with a black to ruthenium metal core and grey shaded lenses); orange (black bar with a black to orange metal core and light peach shaded lenses); purple (black bar with a black to purple metal core and purple shaded lenses); and blue (black bar with a black to blue metal core and azure shaded lenses).

The Gucci logo is engraved on the lenses and is subtly visible in metal gold lettering on the temples.
