The new MaxMara sunglasses and optical frames for Spring/Summer 2013, reflect a perfect balance of timeless style and fashionable details enriched with a glamorous touch.
The new sunglasses are inspired by the most famous locations in the US, such as New York and Miami: the House’s new models have a magnetic, fascinating personality, and are embellished with elegant details recalling the brand’s 2013 must-have accessories.
Holiday attitude
Mod. MM HAWAII
These geometrically oversize acetate sunglasses have a metal plaque on the temples, which recalls the buckle on the brand’s legendary Hollywood bag, and gives a unique, stylish flair to this model. The colour palette includes sophisticated combinations of Havana/coral and Havana/blue, as well as elegant hues of yellow, grey and black.
Mod. MM 1166 and mod. MM 1172
These square-shaped acetate optical frames are adorned with a metal plaque recalling the House’s iconic Hollywood bag. These models come in a wide range of colours, in tones of blue/Havana, spotted coral/Havana, grey/Havana as well as black, ivory, pink and grey/light blue.
Mod. MM MALIBU II and mod. MM 1168
A fine metal detail on the front adorns these large, cat-eye acetate sunglasses and optical frames. The sunglasses are available in shades of plum, green, black and spotted Havana, while the optical frames come in nuances of red/orange, dark pink/red, striped dark grey and Havana.
Mod. MM MIAMI I and mod. MM 1160
These elegant and classy acetate sunglasses and optical frames have a softly rounded or cat-eye shaped retro design giving a truly mysterious look. The models are enriched with stunning details, such as dazzling Carré strass, which stands out on natural tones of honey, Havana, striped dark grey and blue/light blue for the sunglasses as well as black, grey/black, red and Havana/brown for the optical frames.

With their underground feel and contemporary design, these trendy acetate sunglasses are inspired by the most fashionable city in the United States. The new model with its pure, simple lines and large square shape is softened by timeless shades of red, khaki, camel and black.
Feminine touch
Mod. MM 1165
An alluring play of transparent hues and an oval silhouette give an ultra-feminine flair to this optical frame. The temples are decorated with the unequivocal, stitching effect - a stylistic mark of the House’s legendary creations, and come in two-tone colour combinations: Havana/coral, red/Havana, blue/Havana or total black.

MAX MARA PRESENTS ITS EYEWEAR CAPSULE COLLECTION DEDICATED TO THE HOLLYWOOD BAG
For Spring/Summer 2013, Max Mara presents an eyewear capsule collection with an elegant, timeless style.
The new sunglasses, dedicated to Max Mara’s iconic Hollywood bag, enthral with their classic shape and brand new colours reminiscent of the themes of the brand’s accessory collection, yet reinterpreted with the House’s usual savoir-faire and inherent elegance.
A metal detail adorns the temples of the new model making an explicit reference to the buckle on the brand’s Hollywood bag, a must-have accessory for the contemporary and sophisticated Max Mara woman.
Their refined shapes and clean, simple lines strike the perfect balance between a contemporary personality and a retro flair. The new capsule collection includes three models:
MM HAWAII I: This oversize, butterfly-shaped model featuring a glamorous design and a bold colour palette comes in nuances of black/gloss black, Havana/crystal/gloss black, yellow, opal grey, Havana/coral/brown and Havana/blue/black with shaded or plain tinted lenses;
MM HAWAII II: This proposal has a geometric, square shape and features shades of black/nude/gloss black, red/orange/burgundy, black/gloss black and Havana/crystal/gloss black with shaded lenses;
MM HAWAII III: A rectangular, cat-eye silhouette for these sunglasses available in Havana/brown, black/gloss black, and plum with shaded lenses.
The Max Mara Hawaii sunglasses will be available in Europe from January 2013 and in the United States from March 2013.
