Light and bright oval-shaped metal eyeglass frames, with the youthful personality of super-contemporary color combinations: blue with black, black with red, black with fuchsia and black with white matte treatment (mod. S 186).
Especially for children
Bright colors for acetate frames in round shapes dedicated to the youngest wearers of eyeglasses, in striking combinations that are full of fantasy: blue/white/red, blue/white, fuchsia/cyclamen/wisteria, violet/blue/fuchsia (mod. S 188).

January 2012 –The new SAFILO eyewear collections for next season are the perfect mix between design and technology, the distinguishing traits of a brand that has always been a byword for quality and excellence.
The new SAFILO GLAMOUR optical frames, dedicated to elegant women with a timeless charm, seduce with their squared shape, embellished with a jewel-like decoration that illuminates the temples and is clearly visible on the elegant tones of turquoise, lilac, beige and light blue (mod. GLAM 89).
The lightweight rectangular-shaped metal silhouettes enthrall with their refined details, such as the enameled colored temples, in shades of light brown, light pink, shiny lilac, light gold (mod. GLAM 91).
The SAFILO DESIGN collection, dedicated to the detail-oriented contemporary man, proposes models with a modern, rigorous design. A squared acetate optical frame with temples, characterized by the innovative “block-hinge”, the utmost expression of next generation design (mod. SD 255).
The men’s thin sheet steel optical frame strikes the perfect balance between retro style and innovative materials. This style is rimless at the bottom and has ultra-lightweight metal temples. The color palette features bold tones of black/dark ruthenium, brown/black, blue/black, matte black (mod. SD 259).

The latest SAFILO communication campaign makes a statement, with striking photographic portraits that draw attention to the collections’ new frames.
The new headline “EYES YOU CAN TRUST” is a reference to the quality and perfection of Safilo eyewear, appreciated everywhere for their expert craftsmanship, attention to detail and exquisite design. The new campaign thus reinforces the image of the brand, which bears the company name. Not only through the concept of trust expressed by the new headline, but also thanks to references to the brand\'s quality and heritage as emphasised by the tagline “Quality eyewear since 1934”.
A guarantee for over 75 years: the trusted reputation of Safilo eyewear is the creative inspiration behind the new campaign. It brings together a series of portraits of people looking at the world through SAFILO optical frames, and freely expressing their emotions.
The new campaign has been conceived and created by the agency D’Adda, Lorenzini, Vigorelli and BBDO. This features characters who boldly and openly display their feelings, through original, powerful facial expressions, individually framed by eyewear from the new SAFILO collections.
Sophisticated black and white effects define the mood of the portraits, which is refined and at the same time captivating, showcasing the precious details of the eyewear.
Each photo is a freeze-frame of a particular facial expression, resulting in an intense emotion that everyone can recognise and identify within themselves, since it is part of everyday life.
The sequence of faces and expressions that make up the new SAFILO campaign attracts our attention and curiosity. The protagonists spontaneously and instantly react to something they are looking at; we don\'t know what causes their reaction. These can be imagined through their facial expressions, which is an open window into their innermost emotions.
The protagonists of the campaign are everyday people, able to express themselves with total spontaneity in front of the lens. Contemporary men and women who are confident about themselves and their own personal style. They proudly wear the optical frames to define their own personality: their glasses are a perfect blend of design and technology, a distinctive feature of a brand that has always been synonymous with quality and excellence.
The subjects depicted in the photos are bold, magnetic and independent, they know themselves and their own strengths, are sure of their own feelings and seem to be saying out loud: “EYES WE CAN TRUST”.

The latest images dedicated to the eyewear of the SAFILO SEVENTH STREET collection are filling the show-windows of leading opticians with colour.
The boys and girls featured in the new campaign are perfectly relaxed as they move around in the contemporary city environment. They drift between colourful murals and skate parks, where they can freely express their dynamic spirit, youthful personality and desire to hang out in total freedom.
The new generations meet up and get together on Seventh Street. Seventh Street symbolises a genuine and essential style, bursting with youthful and bubbly exuberance, the same style that characterises the new eyewear proposals of the brand. In this colourful urban context there is also room for younger children, who for the first time become characters in an image of the brand. The two youngsters are portrayed against a brightly coloured background that represents the upbeat and light-hearted eyewear of the new kid’s collection.
The interesting use of colour, the shapes in movement and the clean and simple lines of the new images effectively draws attention to the SEVENTH STREET optical frames by Safilo: must-have accessory for a youthful, contemporary and perfect urban-style look.
